Knowing that Las Vegas is famous for a wide selection in buffet eatery, what kinds of seafood should I expect? Clams, oysters, crab, lobster? My bf loves raw oysters do they offer these at the buffets?

Never seen raw oysters at a buffets. Orleans has a raw oysters and clams bar.

The Seafood buffet at the Freemont Hotel (Downtown) has raw oysters, clams, lobster, king crab legs, etc. The price is also good $12.99 with the coupon. I know they have it on Tuesday nights, but not sure of other days.
Bob
Rio and Orleans have them. Go to Orleans, 1/3 the price of Rio.
Bob,
Where%26#39;d you get the coupon for the Fremont Buffet?
Peel and eat shrimp, Crab Legs, Small lobster tails, Raw oysters (At some not all buffets), Fried clams, Chowder, Halibut and calamari are staples at the buffets that serve seafood.
Well, maybe we%26#39;ll check out the Orleans buffet. Hubby LOVES raw oysters %26amp; clams. Ewww. Used to have them at GN, but I don%26#39;t think they do anymore. He got sick one year, but that%26#39;s the chance you take when eating raw shellfish. :-o
Re: the king crab. I think you mean snow crab, right? Big difference. I%26#39;ve never seen king crab on any buffet. Snow crab is the smaller, poor man%26#39;s version of king crab. It%26#39;s still really good though and somewhat easier to eat, IMO. I can rarely afford to order king crab unless it%26#39;s a special occasion.
Anyone know if Orleans is on a particular night or is it every night?
The Nugget still serves raw oysters.
They do?! Wow, last time we were there, they didn%26#39;t have them. Maybe only on certain nights???
Raw clams and oysters are my husband%26#39;s favorite foods. Ewww
vegasluvr, some buffets have king crab, Aladdin %26amp; Bellagio I know for shure.
WOW, that amazes me. Then it certainly is worth every penny they charge.
I%26#39;m not that familiar with all the buffets. I guess it%26#39;s preference, but we usually do sit down dinners most nights and only do buffets once or twice, except breakfast. We did the buffets a lot when we first started going 8 years ago because it was all new and exciting. Unfortunately, the better ones were not around back then. Maybe it%26#39;s time we checked them out.
I just don%26#39;t have a lot of patience for waiting in lines, etc. for my food. Plus we stay downtown and after a few cocktails....well, basically we%26#39;re eating downtown. You know what I mean. ;-)
