We are going to Vegas on a girl%26#39;s trip (4-5 people) and want to hit the clubs at night. We have heard to be sure to go to Ghost Bar and Rain at the Palms? Any other suggestions? Is there anyway to avoid paying covers? How much do the covers typically run?

Don%26#39;t fret...all the fun isn%26#39;t just at Rain and Ghostbar. If you are looking for fun clubs, check out Studio 54 - where women are let in free and the club really goes off. Also - don%26#39;t forget about Ra at the Luxor. It%26#39;s a lower cover than most at $10/person and is every bit as cool as the others. There%26#39;s also a local club (by local, I mean it isn%26#39;t on the strip and has alot of locals that hang there) called The Beach that is open 24 hours and has very low cover prices that are negotiable. I%26#39;ve smiled pretty and been allowed to get in free and have had some of the best fun at the place than any other place. One other suggestion would be to go to the Hard Rock Circle Bar. You never have to pay for that, and although it doesn%26#39;t have a dance bar, it has the biggest concentration of gorgeous men, an awesome vibe and great music.
Remember that lines at Rain and Ghostbar take hours (no exxageration here) and they do not budge on covers.

The clubs i went to last year ranged from $20-$30. At ghostbar we gave the door guy fifty each to skip the 2 hour line and get in. I%26#39;m not sure about the passes everyone is talking about.

We had 10 guys out for a stag party. Whatever you do avoid the club ICE LasVegas...it is a sausage fest and even if you were a girl you wouldn%26#39;t be impressed. Cover was rediculous so we opted for the VIP treatment at $250 for 4. Crap...absolute crap. The only thing cool about this place was the fog machine that cooled the whole club. Anything else you want to see about is on that gay show on Spike TV but its all just a bad commercial for this place.
Had a great time at The Hard Rock Cafe, Rum Jungle is a great spot. Heavy cover but worth it. And believe it or not there was a lot of action at MaragritaVille at the Flamingo. Great times.
I was at Ice that same weekend. I didn%26#39;t have any troubles meeting women. Interesting.
Door is $20 a head. Drinks average $8.50 per. 25 drinks to a bottle (not including all the free soda and juice for mixers) at 8.50 each is $212.5 plus 80 door is $292.50. And you%26#39;re complaining about $250? That%26#39;s only $62.50 each; and with a bottle in the VIP area you can share with the ladies too. What%26#39;s to complain about? You did share that bottle with the ladies didn%26#39;t you?
Yeah, I like Ice. They bring the best DJs in the world, the employees are friendly, and security is professional. The Male/Female ratio is close. And it%26#39;s full of locals, not vacationers looking for a ';hook-up';. The women know this and come there for that reason. If your opening line was something about being from out of town and you%26#39;re traveling in a pack, no wonder you had a less than enjoyable experience.
Next time your headed this way, give me a shout and I%26#39;ll show you the other side of Ice.
As for ';The Club';, it was ';reality TV';. What did you expect? A serious documentary?

How would you know what weekend I was there.....I never said. Anyways, I never said that the VIP treatment wasn%26#39;t a good deal. As a matter of fact it was a great deal. By crap I meant the crowd. Just that there honestly was like a 7 to 1 ratio for guys to girls that night and if you are with a bachelor party that whats you are looking for. Service was nice, security was great and the DJ was not bad. Other than that you are right the show will not show the true jist of the club. Just that particular weekend we had much better times at other clubs and first impressions to me are important.
