Airline changes flight times?!

I got a call from a friend of mine who booked our airline tix thru midwest and they changed our flight times from leaving MKE at 10:30 to leaving at 2:30-which means we dont get to Vegas til 4 pm-bummed! said there was nothing we could do pretty much gotta shut up and deal.

Well so much for pool time on the Thurs we arrive then--just gonna HAVE to start gambling and tossin back miller lites...oh the things we have to go thru.

haaaa!

Thats all, just wanted to throw that out there!

Airline changes flight times?!

Our flight had a change too....we are flyin Northwest and they changed our flight to 55 minutes later...I called and asked if we could get on an earlier flight...and they told me if the flight time was more than an hour difference I could at no charge, but since it is less than 60 minutes that if I wanted an earlier flight I%26#39;d have to pay 25.00 per ticket charge as well as the difference in the ticket prices and that would be another 150.00 per ticket since the flights are close to sold out. So we decided to save the 350.00 and just live with it....but it looks like you might not have to....check it out.

I have noticed that Midwest has changed their flight times 3 times in the last month and that the rate has gone from $262 to up to $310. We are planning on booking one of their vacation packages since they are offering a $100 honeymoon discount - this means we can go on a 4 night Thursday to Monday trip in October for about $350pp - staying at the Stratosphere.

Cant Wait

Yeah - American contacted me a week ago about an arrival change. Instead of getting into Vegas at 9:55am, we%26#39;ll be getting in at 10:07am. Dangnabit!!!

Herfnerd-awwwwww poor baby! whatever will you do to kill that time?? too funny! (sorry I dont like the ';LOL'; thing-it bugs me for some reason!)

Oshkosh-what airport do you fly out of? I need to check that out-my trip in May is w/ the girls but hubby %26amp; I go every Oct for our anniversary--wonder if they have Golden Nugget rates??

Also I already tried to see about the earlier flight but its all booked--bummer.

We are flying out of Milwaukee. I am pretty sure that GN is one of the available hotels. I am not exactly sure what you need to do to get the honeymoon discount, but the promo code is wed05

Thanks Oshkosh-I%26#39;m definitely checking that out!

I am flying Midwest in Sept. I also started with a 10:30 am flight time. It has changed 4 times now and I%26#39;m currently at an 8:40 am time. You may have changed to it to as we seem to have started with the same 10:30 time. My 8:30 time was just changed this week.

I think Midwest is trying very hard to lose their reputation for ';The best care in the air';. Being changed a few minutes is one thing, but you folks that are being bumped around like that really need to push back. Let them know you are unhappy.

Northwest has direct flights from Milwaukee to Vegas now, major difference is you don%26#39;t get a cookie. Midwest had better be careful.

ibgamblinqueen,

Call Midwest!! The secound time they changed my flight time was from 10:30 to 2:12. I believe you are on the same time schedual I am. All you have to do is call and tell them you booked the am flight and were changed to a pm flight and you want an am flight. Thats what I did and they changed it at no cost to me. If THEY change your flight they will put you back in the am but you have to call. Don%26#39;t let them take your day.

Question, are all these flights booked directly with the airlines? Meaning any of these booked with third parties? Expedia, travel worm etc. I have to book flights for Oct 2005. Just wondering what I%26#39;m up against.
