I%26#39;m going to LV in early september with 3 other friends,the only problem i%26#39;ve got is that they booked their holiday package a few months back and asked me if i would like to come along,i%26#39;ve just paid for my flight tickets but haven%26#39;t booked my accomodation,i%26#39;ve just checked out some prices for staying at the luxor as was suprised at the prices,would the prices be cheaper if i (a) paid for them weeks or days before i fly out or (b) i paid for the room and the number of nights for my stay when i get there? My friends suggested that i just bunk in with them in their room as they dont mind,is this advisable?

I would book your room now with Luxor directly. Watch their rates, and if they drop you can call them and they will honor the new lower rate. You can also cancel without cost/penalty within 48 hrs. of arrival if you decide to stay elsewhere or stay in your friends%26#39; room.

That%26#39;s what I did -- booked directly with the Luxor and watched the prices for a couple of months. Price kept going up and up, and then one day it dropped about $70. Called them, they gave me the new rate, then it kept going up. You%26#39;ll enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Luxor! I found the dealers and atmosphere to be a lot more fun at the casino in the Mandalay than in the Luxor. Have a great trip!

If the prices were still sky high would you reccomend sneaking into my friends room?would i find any problems/hassle by doing this as i%26#39;ve never done it before!
