If You Could Only See ONE Show........

Which one would you choose?

My hubby is adamantly opposed to seeing the shows in Vegas. Thinks they%26#39;re overpriced and overhyped. He feels that $200 bucks is ridiculous, and could be better spent on a couple of nice meals.....he LOVES to eat!!

This year I%26#39;m trying to convince him otherwise. Mentioned Mystere to him last night and when I told him how much, he said.....well, I won%26#39;t tell you what he said. LOL

I personally think he might enjoy a revue or comedy show more than a Cirque production. I would feel really bad if I talked him into seeing something and then he hated it or fell asleep. :-o

We%26#39;re staying at GN, thought maybe Gordie Brown might be a good mid-priced option. Have read some pretty good reviews on him.

Any advice?

If You Could Only See ONE Show........

I was just in Vegas last week and saw two shows with my wife. First show was Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo. We had third row tickets and they were only $65 each. The show was great and Lance is truly a great illusionist. We also saw the Blue Man Group at the Luxor. All I can say about that show is holy crap!! What a show. I truly have never seen anything like that before and can%26#39;t recommend it enough to anyone going to Vegas. You can get upper mezz seats (which are not bad seats at all as there really are no bad seats in their theatre) for around the same price as Lance Burton%26#39;s. I would definitely recommend both of them for a good show to keep your husband entertained. I am a man to and don%26#39;t like shows that much but both of these blew me away!! Have fun.

If You Could Only See ONE Show........

Go to the Tropicana and do the free slot pull...you may get lucky and win tickets to Folies or Rick Thomas. We got lucky and won tickets to both...

I guess my all time favorite show is Mystere (seen it twice), but I also loved Zumanity, Danny Gans, Blue Man Group, O. Can%26#39;t wait for the opportunity to see KA.

Maybe he%26#39;ll like an ';adult'; show. The way to a man%26#39;s heart is through his stomach and er....well, you know where else. We have enjoyed Midnight Fantasy and Showgirls of Magic.

If you do go to comedy, stay away from Amazing Johnathan. Its a waste of money.

I agree with your husband. $100/ticket for a production show? No thanks for me either. I agree with the Tropicana idea, maybe you%26#39;ll get some free tix there. The only show I believe is worth the money is Mr. Las Vegas, good ol%26#39; Wayne Newton. We saw the old guy two years ago, great seats were dead center fourth row, $65 a pop. He still puts on a great show.

Thanks, guys. I will take all under advisement and discuss with hubby this weekend. I doubt if he%26#39;d go for Mr. Las Vegas, but might like the Blue Man Group.

I%26#39;m SURE he%26#39;d like an ';adult'; show. Where is Midnight Fantasy playing?

Midnight Fantasy is at Luxor and Showgirls of Magic is at the San Remo.

Go to Blockbuster and rent a Cirque DVD and see if you really want to spend the $$ on something like that.

Crazygirls Riviera..lol!

Best show in town for the $$$ is Mac King. Can%26#39;t beat it for $19. You should be able to get a buy-1-get-1 coupon so it%26#39;s more like $10pp. Great show / great deal!
