Mirage vs. Tropicana

Can someone tell me which hotel would be a better choice?

The price of Trop is 1/2 of the Mirage.

Dont mind paying the $$ if Trop is dumpy but if Trop is ok, then would rather have $$ for something else.

Can%26#39;t compair the two. Mirage is about a dime short of a 5-star hotel. Trop is a 3-star. Don%26#39;t take that wrong, nothing wrong with the Trop rooms or the place. Since you are counting pennies, stay at the Trop if all you are using the place for is to sleep-n-shower.

I have stayed at both hotels and I can tell you Mirage is hands and feet above the Trop. The room at the Trop was not much better than a motel 6. At the Mirage you will feel that your money has been better spent.

DEFINENTLY the MIRAGE!!!! It is my all time favorite casino/hotel.. It is definently worth the xtra bucks, and it is BEAUTIFUL! Notice the smell, of lilacs, and the sound of the fountains! Please stay there!

This is a case of ';you get what you pay for.'; Also, be aware that the lowest tier rooms price-wise at the Trop are motel-style accommodations (';Garden rooms'; or something like that?) which are light years different from Mirage.

Of course the mirage is much nicer than the trop but to call the trop dumpy is ridiclious.

The rooms are decent, the location is brilliant and the pool is excellent. If you are on a budget then there is NOTHING wrong with the trop.

say what you want about the trop but they are very genrous with their upgrades, and they have one of the NICEST pools in vegas.

If all you are going to do is sleep , shower and swim, the trop is a good option.

If you want luxury then go for luxury.
