Down to two....Bellagio or The Hotel at Mandalay

Prices are very, very close....Bellagio is 159 and The hotel at 169 for a Sunday to tuesday stay in August. I am fully aware of the location difference(go to Vegas twice a year), although I am totally unfamiliar with the rooms in both locations (size compair., furnishings). This will be a trip for my wife and I(both early 30%26#39;s)

Thank you for your help.

Looking for anyone who has possibly stayed at both.

Is The Hotel worth the additional 10 per night etc. with the location? Thank you again

Haven%26#39;t actually stayed in either - however after much deliberation, we chose THE Hotel for our visit in April. Gosh - we%26#39;ll have to go in August next time - you got a MUCH better rate! Anyway, one of the deciding factors was the size of the room. I believe square footage wise, it is larger than the Bellagio rooms. Also, the fact that there is separate bedroom. The reviews on here helped a lot too. I suggest you go to those for each one and read up - that may help decide. Either one will be fabulous I%26#39;m sure! Kathy

talk about a win win either way you go LOL

I%26#39;ve stayed in both. If you want the best ';room'; then THEHotel wins by a mile. The rooms are awesome (2 seperate rooms, wet bar, two bathrooms, a tub for two, 3 plasma TV%26#39;s, ceiling to floor windows, etc...)

We found THEHotle to be a nice retreat when we wanted a break from the Vegas pace. We found Bellagio to be really busy and crowded all the time!!

To me, they are not even close if you%26#39;re looking for the best room for the $$%26#39;s. THEHotel is worth every penny at that price!

Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!

mdsmith151,

THEhotel is awfully nice. If you like the modern chic/contemporary look, then book THEhotel. You cannot get a bad room at THEhotel. They all have 1.5 bath and 3 TV%26#39;s with a seperate living area. Bathroom has deep tub and seperate shower. Now for the guys, they have mirrors facing the bed that look really good and part of a built-in armoir. However, those mirrors can be used for other things. If you know what I mean. To me the only thing that tops THEhotel right now is a Lakeview Room at the Bellagio. If you can%26#39;t get a Lakeview Room, then definitely go with THEhotel.

Thanks....how close is the casino to ';The Hotel'; tower.

THE Hotel entrance to the MB is right next to the casino and sports book. I stayed at THE Hotel in September 2004. It was great. You can%26#39;t go wrong with the rooms + the MB facilities. the downside is the location on the Strip, but you know that already. I have not stayed at the Bellagio.

I have stayed at THE hotel (last march) and absolutely loved it! While I enjoyed visiting the Bellagio, I would definately choose to stay at THE hotel again. The rooms are fantastic- 1 1/2 bath, living room, bedroom, floor to ceiling windows, and flat screen TVs in each room. Though many people do not like the south end of the strip- I enjoy it alot. I think it%26#39;s nice to be a little bit away from everything. You can not go wrong staying here!

The walk from THEHotel to MB is a short 1 minute indoor walk. You walk past the Cafe in THEHotel, past a few small shops, a ticket booth and you%26#39;re in the MB casino. Compared to all the walking you do in Vegas, this is not even worth thinking about. I%26#39;ve walked farther from my room to the elevator on my floor in some hotels.
