I seem to remember some VP machines outside the piano bar at NYNY (looking into the bar, with piano bar bartenders serving you), but we never saw a singe cocktail server, and beers at the bar were WAY high. Super fun bar, though.

The hilton%26#39;s spacequest bar (closest to the monorail and star trek experience) serves 4$ drinks, and has VP/VBJ

All mid- to lower-range casinos I%26#39;ve wandered through (and some high-end) had 25-cent video poker at a bar. Sometimes you have to look. That included places like MGM (which is getting tight with free drinks) Paris, Ballys, etc. Everything downtown was 25-cent. Mirage ony had $1 VP at bars that I could find, so scratch that.

If it%26#39;s just cheap drinks you%26#39;re looking for, I think Casino Royale is still selling 99-cent Michelobs at its VP bar. Fun place to hang out.

beer for a buck at the Barbary Coast Bar.

Most, but not all hotels have .25 VP machines at the bar. However most require you to put $20 in the machine to get a comp drink, some only require $5 like Orleans aand most off-strip casinos.

However I must say if drinking is you objective, it is just cheaper to go somewhere with cheap booze and pay for it while you sit at the bar.

thanks for the responses....I like to gamble a little and hate waiting for the waitresses to come around

I remember them at the bar at Bally%26#39;s and on the one hand it was convenient (they were 25cent machines) because the drinks come faster than waiting for the ones walking around taking orders, but when we were there, the bartender said we had to bet the maxium to get comped drinks. (we were trying single quarter bets, and he could tell). But, I think the max was probably only $0.75
