My husband and I are travelling to the Venetian on Sunday, staying in the Venetian not the Venezia.
Can anyone tell me if the rooms have safety deposit boxes in them or are they held in reception. Also, do they fit a small laptop (not a standard size, a really small compact one) in ?

Safes at the Venetian
Yes I had a safe in the rooms in the Venezia tower as well as the other tower. It was big enough for 2 IBM Thinkpad laptops by the way. You could lock it with a number you chose or your room key or any credit card.
They also had high speed internet connections which worked well.
