OK to take videos inside of casinos?

Is it OK to take videos inside of casinos? We%26#39;d like to bring some home for friends. Would they be too dark?

Yes and no. None will let you film near the pits, some will let you film around the perimeter like Rio. Casinos like to keep thier clients private, and obvious security reasons.

My advice is to just ask politely. If you are asked to quit and move on, do so immediately.

Nevada State Law says you cannot take video or pictures of anyone without first obtaining their written permission. (This is a BIGGEY)

Second - most hotels do not mind pictures as long as it is done as VHB said from a distance. If you are taking pictures and security comes up on you and asks you to quit - don%26#39;t try to give a reason or dispute the reason - just stop and acknowledge them- they are friendly and are only following casino rules -
