Is this typical weather for Tahoe.

We%26#39;re coming out there next week and I believe it%26#39;s going to be in the 40%26#39;s and rain/snow. Very unhappy about that.

We%26#39;re going skiing so I won%26#39;t mind, unless of course it%26#39;s raining.

Is this what%26#39;s it%26#39;s usually like. And, is this 40 degrees, but with the wind chill feels like -10 degrees (like here in NEw Jersey)

ok...he can listen to YOU, someone who supposely lives in Texas...or ME, a 20 year local.

seems you hate the South Shore? or are you just marketing the cal-neva resorts.

and by the way....when people go on vacation, they like options. women like to shop and kids like to have fun....ice skating ...bowling...eating ice cream...what ever.

and night life....who%26#39;s at the cal-neva tonight? there are several shows going on at Stateline, in the South shore....comedy clubs, bands, night clubs....etc.

FACT IS... South Shore has more to offer....thats why it gets more visitors.

as far as Heavenly...it takes a gondola ride, then a high speed 6 person chair to get to the top of the Nevada side....just shows how much YOU know....

and I own my ski%26#39;s....never stood in line to rent....but you are saying that there are no lines at the North Shore rental shops?.....who ya kidding?

Advantages of staying at the south shore Casinos are....you can WALK 1/2 block from 20 differnt hotels TO THE GONDOLA AND BE SKIING WITHIN MINUTES OF LEAVING YOUR HOTEL ROOM.

Disadvantages of staying at the Cal-Neva is your at least 25 minutes driving to the ski area and if it snows don%26#39;t forget to buy tirechains and be ready to crawl around in the snow....on a highway...to put your $70 chains on you had to buy. If your skiing Northstar...be prepared for the 25 minute gondola ride AFTER YOUR 1/2 MILE WALK FROM THE PARKING LOT.....Then once at the top of the gondola you have several OLD, SLOW chairs to get you to the top.

Heavenly? The resort is now owned by VAIL SKI REORTS and they have been dumping money into the place.

One other suggestion....when riding the gondola....BRING YOUR OWN BEER!

Well, just to ease his simple mind....I own my own business on the south shore....own 3 - four wheel drive vehicles AND a couple of motorcycles ...2 boats...3 quads....3 snow mobiles...3 kayaks...5 windsurfers...and a quiver of skis, snowboards, ( I am currently having some storage issues :)

and by the way....its against the law to hitchhike in Nevada...and also, against the law to PICK UP A HITCH HIKER....so when your here Steve...don%26#39;t do either!
