Do club cards expire?

It has been about 5 years since we have been to Las Vegas and I didn%26#39;t keep any of our club cards. Do we just sign up for a new one again or do they keep records of them?

I think that after a couple of years without use they expire - from what I remember reading on the back of the card the last time I looked

18 months is what I have been told.

I%26#39;ve had my Ballys club card for 4 years and hadn%26#39;t used it in 3, and it was still active when I made my reservations recently. I%26#39;d ask the hotel to be sure.

Sorry, we don%26#39;t keep records...for your protection. That way your name can%26#39;t come up if our records are subjected to a subpoena. Your privacy is important to us. You%26#39;ll have to buy a new card.

Or at least that%26#39;s what they%26#39;ll tell you at the door so they can get your dollars.

When you said ';club';, I thought strip/dance clubs. If it%26#39;s casino player cards, then it should still be in the computer system.

Records are kept. They will check to see if you%26#39;re in the computer first. If they can%26#39;t find you, they will sign you up for a new card. Any comps you may have earned most likely have expired.

I don%26#39;t think they expire, but they do update. If you go to the casino%26#39;s website you might even be able to pull up your information. When Casino%26#39;s are bought or sold they will often add other properties to your card. I try to get cards at all of the places I play it usually just takes a few minutes and you never know when you might have the luck O%26#39; the Irish with you. and be able to move from Circus Circus to a Bellagio Suite....

My last trip to Vegas I went to the desk to signup for the casino card and they had my old information on record. They turned to my wife and said ';You must be Beatriz';. Whoops! That was my first wife! My second (current) wife, Teri, was amused! :-) This meant they had kept the information active for around 8 years.
